The most important decision you will ever make!

My body and soul felt something unfathomable – a deep sadness, confusion and anger; a cry to God so deep, to a place I have never been with Him. I have never felt anything like this before, let alone in response to the death of a person I do not know.
I realised my experience wasn’t physical – it was spiritual.
When I saw videos of Charlie Kirk’s death, I felt something inexplicable – I knew something had shifted, but I couldn’t explain it in the moment. I kept repeating in my mind, “something shifted, Lord, something shifted.” Then I realised God is doing something majestic, universal, powerful and undeniably big – something shifted indeed.
The divide has never been clearer – on one side light, on the other side darkness. There is no grey area anymore. It’s time; it’s time for every single person to choose between light and darkness. And the God of the universe, the only living God, is eagerly waiting for you to heed His call. He is the only God who truly loves you so much that He sacrificed His only Son so that you can live!
God has been raising up an army, and now it’s time to enter the battleground.
When Moses, the chosen one to lead the Israelites out of bondage, out of Egypt, died, the nation mourned for 30 days, then God chose Joshua to take them into the promised land.
God promised Joshua that “no man shall be able to stand before you all the days of your life; as I was with Moses, so I will be with you. I will not leave you nor forsake you.” But He added, “Be strong and of good courage… Only be strong and very courageous… Be strong and of good courage; do not be afraid, nor be dismayed, for the LORD your God is with you wherever you go.” These words are true for God’s children today.
It is as if, in the very instant that bullet left the muzzle of the rifle, God shook heaven and earth and the roar of the Lion of Judah echoed throughout the world, into the very fibres of every soul who is willing to listen, who is willing to stand up for God’s truth.
This I know: God wants every person to enter into His Kingdom. Even those who deny Him, those who believe they are not worthy of His love, those who read this and despise these words, or think I have lost it, or have gone to far. Everyone is covered by the love God has for the world.
A modern-day ‘Moses’ died last week, wanting to help the world, in particular the youth, experience and hear the truth and lead them out of bondage into freedom with God.
I do believe that God mobilised and activated His children in the very moment the impact of that bullet echoed throughout the world. We cannot be quiet; we cannot continue life without zeal for God. We have to rise, proclaim His name and share with the world the only good news that will bring salvation, healing and deliverance from any and all addictions, that ends loneliness and broken-heartedness. He wants everyone to hear and see His truth. GOD LOVES YOU TO NO END – but you have to choose Him.
A man of God died last week, but a multitude will rise because of his death.
This is not about Charlie Kirk, even though many who knew him, loved him are mourning and hurting and will need the God of mercy and all comfort to heal them. This was and is and will be about God and what He does.
Perhaps you are unsure whether you are saved and loved by God through His Son, Jesus Christ; perhaps you think there is still time to negotiate with God about your life; if you feel unworthy because the enemy has convinced you that his ways are better, but you want freedom and desire salvation - God is one conversation away. Lift up your soul to Him who wants you to be His beloved son or daughter.
If you are a child of God and you think that you should become the next Charlie Kirk – that’s not what we are called to do. You are called to be the person God created you to be, to live according to the purpose He prepared beforehand. Wherever you are, whatever your job, whoever you know, wherever you go, speak God’s truth, put on the armour of God, know you are in a battle and cannot and should not fight it in the flesh.
You may not want to listen to me, and that’s ok, but seek the truth in God’s word. He will reveal light, life and truth to you.
My life changed when many prayed for me, even when I didn’t know they did. Today I prayed for you too.
“if God perhaps will grant them repentance so that they may know the truth, and that they may come to their senses and escape the snare of the devil, having been taken captive by him to do his will." 2 Timothy 2:25.
Darkness cannot prevail in the light.
Pray.
Speak the truth with love.
Love your enemy.
Pray for your persecutors.
Share God’s word, the gospel, the good news.
God has given us a gift to rise through the death of one of His own – use it to His glory!
I prayed for you who are reading this today, that “God will grant you repentance so that you may know the truth”. 2 Timothy 2:25
“Today, if you hear his voice, do not harden your hearts.”
